Born in Springfield, Illinois, Pamela earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Forest College. After graduating from college, she worked as an Assistant City Manager in Highland Park, Illinois. Later she moved to Champaign-Urbana, where Pamela was the Director of Human Resources for the City of Urbana, Illinois, and she then became the Acting City Administrator for the City, being one of the first city administrators in Illinois.

After moving to Columbus, Ohio with her husband, Richard, she was chief negotiator for the Columbus Zoo and Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Columbus.

She and her husband have moved around the country living in 4 states: Illinois, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Texas. She has held a real estate license in three states and has been a realtor since 2006. She knows the stress families are experiencing when moving to a new city and she is there and ready to make the move as stress free as possible for her clients. She and her husband Richard moved back to The Woodlands permanently in 2014. Pamela has 4 grown children and 6 grandchildren. She is also the author of The Magic Gingerbread House book series.
